Be An Icon Creative Arts Network
Description
Be An Icon Creative Arts Network is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to connecting creatives with their Creator, their Communities and their Calling. An ICON is an “image that represents something real or true.” We are all created in God’s image – little icons of Him – so our creativity should reflect God’s creative nature vibrantly and visibly.
It’s time for us to press in and discover our identity as created and creative icons and reclaim our place as culture makers, not imitators. We recognize that our creativity is a gift from our Great Creator God, and we commit to reflect His Glory in our lives and in our work.
We host quarterly artist gatherings, a weekly zoom bible study, 3 weekly prayer meetings for the Arts. We are currently commissioning CREATIVE ICONS - a documentary tv series which explores the intersection of faith and art by highlighting artists of faith (past and present) whose work reflects the hidden things of God to the world around us.
